Tuesday, August 14, 2018 —The Wisconsin State Primary Election was held yesterday, August 14, 2018. Running for the 43rd district Assembly seat, Gabriel Szerlong has long been working toward the November General Election. Primaries are generally a time to establish the main candidates for each Party leading to the General Election.  Running unopposed does give a candidate a bit of breathing room, but does not allow for a lack of focus or participation. For an unopposed candidate, primary elections will demonstrate just how well a candidate’s hard work is being received.
“Being unopposed does not mean I have not been working hard to establish connections in the 43rd. I have spent my days door knocking, attending town meetings, and marching in parades working hard to spread the message of a Stronger Wisconsin. I do not take my position on the ballot for granted. I will continue to seek opportunities to engage with voters, learning about their concerns while sharing my stances on the issues,” stated Gabriel Szerlong on Tuesday.
He went on to thank the voters for their votes and support throughout the campaign season.
The 43rd Assembly District contains portions of Rock, Walworth, Dane and Jefferson counties including Whitewater, Milton, Edgerton, Footville, part of Oregon and surrounding towns.
