Brookfield, Wis. — President Donald Trump endorsed Leah Vukmir for U.S. Senate on Wednesday morning after her victory in the Wisconsin Senate Republican primary on Tuesday.
“Congratulations to Leah Vukmir of Wisconsin on your great win last night,” President Trump tweeted. “You beat a very tough and good competitor and will make a fantastic Senator after winning in November against someone who has done very little. You have my complete and total Endorsement!”
“When President Trump succeeds, America succeeds,” Leah said in response. “I am honored to have his endorsement and look forward to beating Tammy Baldwin who wants to obstruct the President’s agenda at every turn. Wisconsinites want a senator who will work with President Trump to make American great again, and that’s exactly what I intend to do.”
