Gov. Scott Walker has launched his first TV ad of the general election, telling listeners “we’re just getting started.”
The 30-second statewide ad comes one day after his Dem opponent Tony Evers won an eight-way primary to take on the guv in November.
The ad opens with Walker talking straight to the camera, saying “Wisconsin is on a roll” with lower taxes, a heightened K-12 investment and a low unemployment rate.
“We’re just getting started,” he says.
He then lays out his plan to reduce student loan debt for individuals “who work high demand careers here in Wisconsin.” Words on the screen ...
