Madison – Yesterday, The Ho-Chunk Nation announced the Bureau of Indian Affairs has approved the Ho-Chunk Nation Fee-to-Trust Gaming and Entertainment Project in Beloit.

“After 20 years of discussion, due diligence and uncertainty, I’m pleased to see the approval process advance to the final hurdle. Our economy is hurting under current conditions, and when this massive project gets underway it will help the local and regional economy rebound by bringing jobs, tourism and additional revenue to the area,” said Loudenbeck. “I call on Governor Evers to approve the gaming and entertainment project and allow the Ho-Chunk Nation, the City of Beloit and Rock County to continue their efforts to make their vision a reality.”
