OAK CREEK – Earlier this evening, State Representative Jessie Rodriguez (R-Oak Creek) declared victory in her reelection bid to represent Wisconsin’s 21st Assembly District. With all precincts reporting, Rodriguez secured a victory by achieving 55% of the vote as she ran to maintain her seat for a fifth two-year term. Following this evening’s victory, Rodriguez released the following statement:

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank the voters of the 21st district who have again put their trust in me as their state representative – a task I do not take lightly. I am truly humbled by the support I have received from my community and look forward to serving our community’s needs for the next two years in Madison.

“Campaigns are about ideas and are only as strong as the support you receive. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank all those that supported me, including my family and friends, as we worked toward tonight’s victory.”

The 2021-22 session of the Wisconsin State Legislature will commence on January 4, 2021 when State Representative Jessie Rodriguez is inaugurated and begins her fifth two-year term representing the 21st Assembly District. The 21st district includes the cities of Oak Creek, South Milwaukee and portions of Franklin.
