Milwaukee – Alex Lasry announced endorsements of Democratic Party leaders today, adding to the growing list of those supporting his campaign for the U.S. Senate. In addition to support from Democratic Party leaders Martha Love and Khary Penebaker, Lasry announced the support of several local party leaders from across the state.

Lasry’s list of additional endorsements includes:

  • Kody Hart, Chair of the Marathon County Democratic Party
  • Dan Meyer, Chair of the St. Croix County Democratic Party
  • Andrew Hassan, Vice Chair of the St. Croix County Democratic Party
  • Marcia Steele, Winnebago County
  • Mary Arnold, former Chair of the Democratic Party of Columbia County
  • Mike Moran, former Chair of the Democratic Party of Brown County
  • Marlene Ott, former Chair of the Democratic Party of Milwaukee County

“So often, candidates and elected officials ignore our part of the state,” said Kody Hart of Wausau. “Alex reached out early to make sure that the issues facing people from central Wisconsin were included in his platform and campaign. Alex is the leader we need for all of our state.”

“Alex’s fresh perspective and different way of thinking will make him an excellent partner in the U.S. Senate for Tammy Baldwin”, said Andrew Hassan of Hudson. “I’m proud to endorse his candidacy and ready to get to work in Western Wisconsin talking to voters on his behalf.”

“Alex showed us how dedicated he is to Wisconsin over the past few years while he traveled across the state trying to bring the DNC Convention to Milwaukee”, said Mike Moran of Suamico. “That’s what folks in my part of the state are looking for, someone who will go to Washington and fight for Wisconsin every day. I’m proud to support Alex’s campaign.”

“It’s an honor to receive the endorsement of these leaders in the Democratic Party,” said Lasry. “It’s support from activists like them that will make our campaign to defeat Ron Johnson successful. We are building a grassroots campaign in all corners of Wisconsin, and these Party leaders will play a key role in our campaign reaching out to voters across the state.”

The Democratic Primary Election for the United States Senate will be held Tuesday, August 9th, 2022. For more information about Alex Lasry and his campaign, visit www.alexlasry.com.
