MILWAUKEE – Kirsten Johnson, Milwaukee’s newly-appointed commissioner of health, will be the featured guest at a virtual event set for noon on Friday, April 16. This Newsmaker Lunch Hour is presented by a partnership between the Milwaukee Press Club, and  WisPolitics.com.

Prior to her confirmation in February, Johnson was director and health officer of the Washington Ozaukee Public Health Department. Johnson replaced Jeanette Kowalik who resigned last fall to take a job in Washington, D.C.

Johnson will field questions from a panel of journalists from noon to 1 p.m., moderated by Milwaukee Press Club President Corrinne Hess, reporter for Wisconsin Public Radio.

You must register in advance to view this event. Those who register will receive a link on the morning of the event to view it live.
