MADISON – Assembly Assistant Democratic Leader Dianne Hesselbein released the following statement thanking Representative Gordon Hintz for his steadfast leadership to the Assembly Democratic Caucus:
“Representative Hintz exemplifies the qualities of a leader that are not often displayed in legislative politics. My colleague has an unending sense of humor that can disarm even the staunchest ideological adversaries. Representative Hintz’s ability to craft a quality floor strategy that delivered for the people of our state was second to none.
“I know that Representative Hintz stepping back now will give him time to further serve his constituents in Oshkosh, and spend more quality time with his young family. His wit and smarts will still be a valuable asset to our caucus and I look forward to him continuing to contribute to our shared goals.
“Our caucus is united in the vision of a Wisconsin that truly works for everyone. Representative Hintz took that baton and moved us three seats and thousands of constituents closer to a majority in the State Assembly.
