BROOKFIELD—Sara Rodriguez, candidate for Lieutenant Governor of Wisconsin in 2022, announced today the support of nine members of the State Assembly.

“I’m proud to endorse my friend, Sara Rodriguez, for Lt. Governor,” said Rep. Mark Spreitzer. “With her varied public and private experience and a strong background in public health, Sara is ready to hit the ground running to help Governor Evers lead our state forward. Sara is one of the most impressive legislators I’ve ever worked with, and I know she’ll serve Wisconsin well as our next Lieutenant Governor.”

“Sara Rodriguez is one of the brightest and most thoughtful legislators with whom I’ve worked,” said Rep. Lisa Subeck. “I believe her diverse and impressive background in the private sector, in healthcare, and as a public servant are exactly what Wisconsin needs right now.”

The following legislators endorsed today:

Rep. Mark Spreitzer (D-Beloit)

Rep. Lisa Subeck (D-Madison)

Rep. Beth Meyers (D-Bayfield)

Rep. Sue Conley (D-Janesville)

Rep. Steve Doyle (D-Onalaska)

Rep. Deb Andraca (D-Whitefish Bay)

Rep. Tod Ohnstad (D-Kenosha)

“It’s an honor to receive support from these public servants, who come from all over Wisconsin,” said Rodriguez. “We have worked in concert to make our state better, and having their confidence means the world to me. Together, we will help every Wisconsinite have great schools, better roads, a strong democracy, a clean environment, access to healthcare, and the opportunity to earn an honest living.”
