DGA commits $21M to Wisconsin guv race

The Democratic Governors Association announced today the group and its allies have reserved $21 million in TV ads this fall to boost Gov. Tony Evers’ reelection bid. The initial reservation is part of a larger $75 million buy that also includes Colorado, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada and New Mexico. It comes after the Republican Governors Association announced it planned to spend $6.2 million in Wisconsin as part of a $31.4 million buy in five states. Second judge orders Vos not to destroy records

A Dane County judge has ordered Assembly Speaker Robin Vos not to destroy records related to former Supreme Court Justice Michael Gableman’s 2020 election probe. Wednesday’s order, which Dane County Judge Valerie Bailey-Rihn said is “effective immediately,” comes after fellow Dane County Judge Frank Remington ordered Gableman not to delete records related to the election investigation as required by law.
