NRSC: Alex Lasry, again, hides personal financial disclosure from voters

Washington, D.C. —  Wall Street’s candidate, Alex Lasry, requested a 90-day extension on filing his statement of economic interests. The big problem with this is that the extension – that was in fact granted – puts him outside the 30-day window required by law. The law says that a candidate needs to file at least 30 days before the election. Additionally, this 90-day extension would mean Wisconsin voters would be kept in the dark about Lasry’s finances until after the primary election on August 9th. Lasry is once again knowingly shielding voters from his financial information. Remember when he hid the fact he

Working Families Party: Tuesday’s progressive gains show momentum for Mandela Barnes

WI WFP State Director Jake Spence issued the following statement on the results of Tuesday’s Democratic primaries: “Last night’s progressive gains show an important trend: Democratic voters are showing up for candidates who show up for them. From Summer Lee in Pennsylvania, Charles Booker in Kentucky and Andrea Salinas in Oregon, people are coming together across lines of difference to elect leaders who come from the communities they represent and who are proven fighters for working people, not millionaires and corporate lobbyists. That’s exactly the type of leader Mandela Barnes is, and that’s the type of fighter Wisconsin needs. Our
