Club for Growth Action has launched a TV bid knocking Kleefisch, accusing her of taking taxpayer-funded “junkets” and taking a “cushy job in Washington.” The Club for Growth didn’t immediately return a message from WisPolitics.com. DWD leader highlights groups targeted with employment initiatives

DWD economist highlights lagging jobs in leisure and hospitality

Dept. of Military Affairs: Application period opens for competitive geographic information system grants

The Office of Emergency Communications (OEC) is pleased to announce the release of the first funding opportunity under the new Geographic Information System (GIS) grant program for enabling NextGeneration9-1-1 (NG9-1-1) services. The Wisconsin Department of Military Affairs (DMA) is allocated $1.5 million annually for awarding grants under the GIS grant program. Grant eligibility criteria, allowable and unallowable expenses are governed by Wisconsin Department of Military Affairs agency policy. OEC, as part of the DMA, provides program management for the implementation of the statewide emergency services IP-based network (ESInet) for NG9-1-1 services and is responsible for administering this new grant program.
