(Milwaukee, WI) – Yesterday, the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals ruled in the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) case, State of Texas v. United States, that DACA is unlawful, a decision that impacts the lives of millions of people across the country, and the nearly 7,000 active DACA recipients living in Wisconsin as of 2020 (USCIS).
