Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce today announced a new TV buy hitting Dem Gov. Tony Evers on education. The group said the spots, through its WMC Issues Mobilization Council, are part of a six-figure ad campaign. One version will run statewide, while another will run in the Milwaukee market. Wisconsin Truth PAC, which has been funded largely by GOP megadonors Diane Hendricks and Elizabeth Uihlein, is out with a new TV ad calling Barnes “oblivious” to inflation, evaporating retirement savings and crashing home values. It began airing Thursday, according to AdImpact. U.S. Sen. Ron Johnson’s campaign is up with two new TV ads knocking Dem Barnes on crime. One spot is from Johnson’s campaign, while another is a partnership with the National Republican Senatorial Committee. Wisconsin Historical Society: Announces two additions to state historical markers

Madison, Wis. – Two additions will be made to Wisconsin’s official list of State Historical Markers this month, part of a 3-year initiative that aims to elevate underrepresented histories throughout the state.  The Wisconsin Historical Society was awarded a $75,190 grant from the William G. Pomeroy Foundation in 2021 with funding to support the creation and installation of new markers as well as the replacement of markers containing inaccurate or outdated language.
