Dept. of Justice: Announces enforcement against two alleged illegal robocallers

MADISON, Wis. – The Wisconsin Department of Justice today announced the national Anti-Robocall Litigation Task Force is bringing enforcement actions to further investigations into two voice service providers over alleged involvement in illegal robocalls. “Companies that facilitate illegal robocalls are part of the problem,” said Attorney General Josh Kaul. “The national Anti-Robocall Litigation Task Force is working to prevent illegal robocalls.” The targets of the investigation are Michael Lansky LLC — doing business as Avid Telecom — and One Eye LLC. Wisconsin Veterans Chamber of Commerce: Announces the lineup for this weekend’s Veterans Day Parade

Dept. of Health Services: Gov. Evers, DHS announce grants to expand child telepsychiatry services, access to behavioral health care

Tony Evers and the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS), today awarded $2.5 million in American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funding to five organizations to increase access to child telepsychiatry services. As feds warn of domestic violence around the 2022 election, GOP senate candidates continue to spread conspiracy theories

A new report from CNN found that the Department of Homeland Security, FBI, US Capitol Police and National Counterterrorism Center are warning “that perceptions of election fraud will likely result in heightened threats of violence.” Despite these warnings, Senate GOP candidates across the country continue to recklessly spread conspiracies ahead of election day.   Arizona Blake Masters is already claiming that his election will be stolen and has refused to say whether or not he will accept the results of his election. PSC accepting applications for the 2022 Energy Innovation Grant Program

MADISON, Wi – The Public Service Commission of Wisconsin (PSC or Commission) is now accepting applications for the 2022 Energy Innovation Grant Program (EIGP). The Republican Attorneys General Association has launched a pair of 15-second TV ads supporting Fond du Lac DA Eric Toney and blasting Dem AG Josh Kaul. The ad buys came from the Wisconsin Freedom PAC, an affiliate of the RAGA. The Republican Accountability Project says it’s launching a $3 million ad campaign across several states, including Wisconsin, calling for Republicans to stop sowing distrust in elections. The group said the campaign kicked off Monday in Wisconsin with ads on Fox News, Newsmax and Fox Business Channel.
