The U.S., including Wisconsin is having a post-Thanksgiving COVID-19 surge after a fall plateau. Cases, hospitalizations and test positivity are significantly up. And, deaths, a lagging consequence, are ticking up. To date, the U.S. has had over 99 million cases and nearly 1,100,000 deaths, including over 1,702,000 cases and nearly 14,000 deaths in Wisconsin. Moreover, the surge is happening with a big uptick in flu and RSV infections. A perfect storm.
