The polls are open across Wisconsin for the fall primary.

The most watched race on the ballot is the fight for the GOP guv nomination, with former Lt. Gov. Rebecca Kleefisch and construction exec Tim Michels leading the polls.

State Rep. Tim Ramthun, of Campbellsport, and Adam Fischer, a small business owner, remain active in the race. Meanwhile, business consultant Kevin Nicholson is still on the ballot after dropping out in early July.

Nine GOP lawmakers, including Assembly Speaker Robin Vos, also face primary challenges today.

So does Secretary of State Doug La Follette.
