(Green Bay, Wis.) – Just in time for Give BIG Green Bay, the Lyndahl Family is generously offering a match of up to $50,000 to the Jackie Nitschke Center.

“We are so grateful for this tremendous donation from the Lyndahl Family,” said Michelle Pierquet-Hohner, Director of Community & Donor Engagement for the Jackie Nitschke Center. “The Lyndahls’ ongoing support through the years is truly appreciated, including the lead gift for construction of the new women’s recovery home expected to open this spring on the JNC campus.”

The Lyndahl Family will provide a dollar-for-dollar match for all donations to the Jackie Nitschke Center during Give BIG Green Bay, the 24-hour online fundraising event by the Greater Green Bay Community Foundation and the Green Bay Packers Foundation. Give BIG Green Bay runs from noon on Feb. 23 to noon on Feb. 24. Online donations to the Jackie Nitschke Center can be made at https://www.givebiggreenbay.org/organizations/jackie-nitschke-center.

As part of Give BIG Green Bay, the Jackie Nitschke Center is also teaming up with the YWCA Greater Green Bay for a sober FUNdraiser featuring the N.E.W. Piano Guys. The local piano playing duo will entertain with music and comedy during the in-person event from 6 – 8 p.m. at the YWCA, 230 S. Madison St., Green Bay.

The event itself is free to attend, but donations are encouraged and can be made at the event or online. Attendees can also make song requests with donations at the event. Baked goods and veggies will be catered by the ADRC’s Grounded Café and some specialty non-alcoholic beverages will be shared by Dean Distributing

“Now, more than ever, individuals and families suffering with addiction need your help,” Pierquet-Hohner added. “Be our guest and support the Jackie Nitschke Center and the YWCA for this fun event during Give BIG Green Bay!”
