An affiliate of the Republican Governors Association is up with a new ad asking if people are better off under Evers.
The narrator in the spot says the cost of living has skyrocketed, Evers proposed painful tax increases and tried to raise the gas tax 20 percent. The narrator then says Wisconsin is less safe because “Evers’ parole board” released violent criminals and families of victims weren’t notified.
“Wisconsin, Tony Evers has failed. It’s time for him to go,” the narrator says to close the spot.
