Superior – Congressman Tom Tiffany (R-Minocqua) released the following statement in regards to his invitation to Governor Tony Evers to join him at the proposed site of the Nemadji Trail Energy Center:
“I formally extended an invitation to Governor Tony Evers to join me, regional state legislative candidates, and members of the media to a previously planned press conference on the Nemadji Trail Energy Center today in Superior.
“Governor Evers has the ear of President Biden and knows that the EPA is holding up this project. This project is critical for the Superior region and will provide clean energy. Governor Evers should tell President Biden to get out of the way or get this project done.
“The press conference is scheduled to take place today at 10:00 AM at the intersection of 31st Avenue and Grand Avenue near the proposed site of the Nemadji Trail Energy Center.”
