MADISON, Wis. – The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) reminds the public to beat the crowds at state park properties this Memorial Day weekend by purchasing their 2023 annual vehicle admission stickers online. Wisconsin is home to 50 state parks, 15 state forests, 44 state biking trails, 84,000 miles of rivers and streams, 15,000 lakes and hundreds of miles of Lake Michigan and Mississippi River shoreline. U.S. Sen. Johnson: Signs letter urging EPA to withdraw small gasoline bulk plant vapor balancing mandate

WASHINGTON – Yesterday, U.S. Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) joined 84 bicameral colleagues on a letter to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), urging it to withdraw portions of a proposal which would place more stringent vapor emissions requirements on small gasoline bulk plants. If finalized, the rule’s stricter requirements could force owners to downsize or shut down operations at some of their bulk plants. It could also drive up compliance costs, raise fuel prices, and choke off supplies to entire communities during emergencies. Rep. Steffen, Sen. Cowles: Champion state support for NFL Draft

Madison, WI –State Representative David Steffen (R-Green Bay) and State Senator Robert Cowles (R-Green Bay) submitted a formal motion requesting that the state allocate $2 million in the biennial budget to offset costs associated with the Green Bay Packers hosting the 2025 NFL Draft.
