Jerry Hanson: GOP phonics programming bill is too restrictive

I am very concerned that the phonics bill being proposed by the GOP legislature is far too restrictive for all students. What is called "three -cueing" (using sight memory words, context clues and visual clues) are excluded from teaching reading by this bill.
