FOX CROSSING, Wis. – Today, Wisconsin State Representative Nate Gustafson (R-Fox Crossing) is announcing his endorsement for presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy.
Gustafson, Republican candidate for the 55th Wisconsin State Assembly District, released the following statement:
“I am proud to have voted for President Donald J. Trump four times – during both the 2016 and 2020 primary elections and general elections. President Trump was the right candidate during those races as we needed an outsider to fix our issues and get our country on the right track.
“Trump was the best candidate in 2016 and 2020, but he is no longer the outsider candidate. The true outsider in the 2024 presidential race is Vivek Ramaswamy.
“Young people in our country need someone to lead that has a clear vision for the future. Vivek, the first millennial candidate to run as a Republican for President, embraces the ideals of faith, patriotism, hard work and family. As a millennial myself, I believe these fundamental values will lead us to a more prosperous America for generations to come. I’m asking Wisconsinites and young voters across the country to not only consider Vivek’s bold candidacy with an open mind, but to cast their votes for him at the ballot box – our future depends on it.”
Gustafson believes that Vivek represents the American Dream and that he has laid out a clear vision for the future of our country through his America First 2.0 policy agenda.
“I am excited to hear from Vivek during the first presidential debate in Milwaukee later this month as he lays out more of his platform for the American people,” Gustafson added.
The first debate is scheduled to take place in Milwaukee on August 23, 2023, and the primary election will take place in Wisconsin on April 2, 2024.
Nate Gustafson is running for re-election in the 55th Assembly District which covers parts of Winnebago and Outagamie Counties and includes the towns of Clayton, Neenah, Vinland, Winchester, Wolf River, Grand Chute, the village of Fox Crossing, and the cities of Neenah and Appleton.
