A MAGA victory in the November election holds the real possibility that the oft-denied PROJECT 2025 agenda developed by MAGA operatives to turn their grievances into policy will be the play book used to govern.
Should MAGA’S PROJECT 2025 be the new administration’s path to governing , even if only for the first six months in office, every corner of our Democracy could be destroyed
The president would have absolute power without accountability.
Approximately 50,000 nonpartisan civil servants would be replaced with MAGA loyalists.
Civil service employees would be reclassified as political appointees under presidential control.
The Department of Justice [DOJ] and FBI directed by the president..
The Federal Reserve will lose it independence being at the direction of the president.
Dodd-Frank banking regulations will no longer be in place to protect against large bank failures.
The FDIC will cease, meaning bank deposits are no longer insured against loss.
The Department of Education will end and public education money will be diverted to private and religious schools.
Programs addressing climate change will end as will the Environmental Protection Agency.
Oil drilling, coal mining and natural gas extraction will be fast tracked as regulations to reduce environmental harm will be cancelled.
Big corporations and oil companies will be deregulated, given free reign to exploit at will.
The U.S. will be removed from international climate agreements.
Congressional oversight will be transferred to the Executive branch.
The Affordable Care ACT [ ACA ] will be repealed.
Medicare and Medicaid will be privatized or end.
Right-wing judicial appointees across the judicial system will decimate the rule of law.
More tax cuts for the rich and higher taxes for everyone else.
Individual income tax will be two flat rates 15% and 30%..
The corporate tax rate will be slashed from 21% to 18%, perhaps even 15%.
Capital gains and dividends tax will be cut to 15%.
Tariffs will result in a national sales tax.
Raise the retirement age for Social Security or privatize or end Social Security.
Gutting of the National Labor Relations Act, denying workers the right to unionize and removing worker protections.
Reject the belief that abortion is healthcare and likely impose a nationwide abortion ban with no exceptions..
Ban contraceptives and IVF.
Track miscarriages, still births, and abortions and prosecute doctors and those who aid with these procedures.
When you cast your vote in this November’s election give wise and well-chosen thought as to whether you want a MAGA America or America’s brand of Democracy going forward?
YOU CAN’T HAVE BOTH!
