ROTHSCHILD -- Republican Party of Wisconsin conventioneers voting in a WisPolitics straw poll narrowly favored Washington County Exec Josh Schoemann over U.S. Rep. Tom Tiffany to be the party’s nominee for governor in 2026.
They also overwhelmingly backed JD Vance for the GOP presidential nomination in 2028.
