LA CROSSE — Republican Party of Wisconsin conventioneers voting in a WisPolitics straw poll preferred Donald Trump for the GOP presidential nomination in 2024 and U.S. Rep. Tom Tiffany to be the party’s nominee for the U.S. Senate.
Just under 53 percent (169 votes) of those participating in the straw poll said they backed Trump in the president...
