Madison, WI– Yesterday, Representative Paul Tittl (R-Manitowoc) was awarded Legislator of the Year by the Wisconsin Waterfowl Association (WWA) for his work on establishing a responsible sandhill crane hunt.

“I want to thank the membership of WWA for this recognition and extend my appreciation for their dedication to sustainable conservation,” said Tittl. “As a young outdoorsman, I would have never thought I would be working to create a new hunt in Wisconsin.”

Tittl also includes the sandhill crane hunt proposal will be brought back next session and looks forward to hearing it on the Assembly Committee on Sporting Heritage where he serves as vice-chair.
