Republicans are right when they say the core of COVID-19 response measures, from testing and tracking of the disease to protecting the state’s most vulnerable populations and its health workers, rests on this administration’s shoulders — for better or worse.
While the governor repeats his dire warning that Wisconsin will be in trouble after December 31, the fact is that Wisconsin is currently in a positive place financially.
As we continue to grapple with the devastating impacts of COVID-19 in our state and nation, we must also acknowledge that this remains a critical time to keep people connected in an effort to keep them safe.
