MADISON – Wisconsin Conservation Voters is releasing its review of the legislative session the “2019-20 Conservation Scorecard” with an online media event on Tuesday, Aug. 18, at 10 a.m. The Conservation Scorecard includes a review of priority legislation and, when available, how legislators voted in committee and on the floor. Dept. of Revenue: Equalized values report shows healthy increase in property values

The Wisconsin Department of Revenue (DOR) released its annual Equalized Values Report. The report shows Wisconsin’s total statewide equalized property value as of January 1, 2020, was $613 billion, a 6 percent increase over the prior year; growth occurred in all property classifications. Equalized values are based on data from January 1, 2019 to January 1, 2020. Dept. of Military Affairs: Approximately 200 Red Arrow Soldiers from 128th Infantry returning to Wisconsin today

Approximately 200 Soldiers from the Wisconsin Army National Guard’s 1st Battalion, 128th Infantry are slated to return to Wisconsin today after a yearlong mobilization to Afghanistan.   Due to restrictions stemming from COVID-19, a traditional homecoming ceremony was not possible today, but senior leaders from the Wisconsin National Guard will greet the Soldiers when their plane arrives.
