April 1 is Wisconsin’s chance to send a message nationally, while protecting our state and communities.

ome of the most prominent Democrats and Republicans in Wisconsin have — as members of an election watchdog group — reached a bipartisan consensus on at least one election-related issue. They all agree that Brad Schimel crossed the line when he used a radio appearance to speculate about “potential fraud” in Milwaukee County ballot counting.

Wisconsin is now the first state where the electorate will have a chance to say a decisive “no” to Elon Musk’s bullying.

Those with little knowledge of how our elections run and operate are trying intently to make it even harder to vote in Wisconsin.

SB 25 requires that, before a judge can re-open a case where a District Attorney declined to issue charges in an officer-involved death, new evidence must be presented that disputes the prior finding of legally justified self-defense. The robust processes that exist now will remain, ensuring thorough investigations into police use of force incidents.

Deporting migrant criminals was in part what Trump was elected to do. But he must do this within the bounds of American law.
