Wisconsin Paper Council: Applauds effort to eliminate personal property tax

We appreciate the leadership of Senator Fitzgerald and his caucus on this issue.” The Paper Council is the voice of the paper industry in Wisconsin representing 18 paper companies in Wisconsin and their 31,000 employees.

UW-Stout: University photographer, book receive national recognition

University of Wisconsin-Stout photographer Brett Roseman and a book about UW-Stout’s history recently received national recognition. Roseman received third place in the Printed Advertisement category of the University Photographers’ Association of America contest. Roseman took photos of students for a series of three “Ready” ads that stress UW-Stout’s career preparation for students and 97.4 percent employment rate for recent graduates. Roseman works for University Marketing and for University Communications. U.S. Attorney’s Office in Eastern District of Wisconsin: Shawano man sentenced to 10 years in prison for child sexual abuse on the Menominee Indian Reservation

Gregory J. Haanstad, United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Wisconsin, announced that on July 18, 2017, William Wilber IV (age: 35) of Shawano, Wisconsin, was sentenced to two concurrent terms of 10 years of imprisonment, followed by a 10-year term of supervised release. The sentence was the result of guilty pleas by Wilber on April 6, 2017 to two counts of Sexual Abuse of a Minor Under the Age of 16. Milwaukee Co. Office of the City Clerk: City Channel equipment issue will impact U-Verse customers

Milwaukee’s City Channel will go dark for all AT&T U-Verse customers for a matter of weeks while a critical piece of encoding equipment is repaired. The City Channel carries Common Council proceedings and other city programming and is part of the Common Council – City Clerk’s Office.
